WELL?

Somewhere between the pop sensibilities of Paramore & Linkin Park, the heavy world of Dillenger & Rage Against the Machine, & Jazz Fusion behemoth Herbie Hancock, lies Altrock group WELL? India Jazz, Andrew Gray & Taylan Bragg’s worlds only collided through geography & principles alone. But that was enough to launch the songwriting trio’s ambition, though much fastidious & arduous work, into a sound of their own. Bookings: wellofficialmusic@gmail.com

Viragos

During the Covid-19 lockdown in Australia, India formed a funk-pop band with a close group of friends, featuring Alex McWhirter from India and the Journey to the East and Bree Young from Bindi Duo. Viragos won the 2020 UON Band competition, taking home a prize worth $2000. Watch the live stream of their big success here (from 2:09:00). After headlining several sold out shows in Newcastle they played Dashville’s end of year festival ‘A Fresh Start’ (photo below).
